Wichtigstes Feature unseres Cookie-Navigators das sogenannte „Opt-in“, also die aktive Zustimmung zu Cookies. Hierfür bietet er Ihnen vorgefertigte Texte, die mit spezialisierten Internetrecht-Anwälten abgestimmt sind. Er kann neben Matomo und Google Analytics auch mit Google Maps, Bing Maps, YouTube und vielen mehr umgehen und blendet, solange keine Zustimmung zu diesen vorliegt, entsprechende Hinweise an den Stellen ein, an denen diese Dienste eingebunden sind.
Richtig interessant wird der Cookie-Navigator vor allem im Zusammenspiel mit unserem Managed Matomo. Wenn die Zustimmung zu Cookies erfolgt, wird Matomo in der Variante mit Cookies eingebunden. Werden Cookies abgelehnt, kommt die cookieless-Variante zum Einsatz. So kommen Sie trotz der Ablehnung durch Ihre Kunden an die wichtigsten Besucherdaten. Der EuGH hat im Oktober 2019 klargestellt, dass vor der Speicherung von Cookies auf dem Gerät des Besuchers eine Einwilligung erteilt werden muss und nicht voreingestellt sein darf. The most important feature is the so-called "opt-in", i.e. the active consent to cookies. The ECJ clarified in October 2019 that consent must be given before cookies are stored on the visitor's device and must not be preset. The Federal Supreme Court (BGH) followed the ECJ's reading on 28.05.2020.
